Key West is located between the Gulf of Mexico and Florida Straits. Because of its location there are many different species of fish he can target. The Gulf of Mexico is loaded with old ship wrecks which are home to a variety of Snapper, Grouper, Jacks, Permit, African Pompano, Cobia, and King Mackerel just to name a few! On the Atlantic side is one of the biggest barrier reefs in the world and it’s home to thousands of different fish species.
