I'm Chris, owner of Far Out Fishing Charters. I've been fishing for over 20 years locally in Key West and have accumulated over 1000 fishing spots! My experience started with fishing and diving off the waters of Key West with my dad recreationally. When I was in high school I had my first boat passed down to me, a 23’ Mako and started to Venture out offshore with my brother and friends. I enjoyed it so much that I decided that I wanted to become a full time fisherman by the time I was out of high school. I started working full time on a commercial fishing boat what I would take out up to 100 miles offshore. After 3 years of selling my catch of Snapper, Grouper and Kingfish, I moved on to Lobster fishing. I ran 1000 traps for 3 years while I started to build a Charter business. In 2007, I purchased FAR OUT, a 28’ Whitewater and began to guide fishing trips. It would be a pleasure to take you out on an adventure to catch a trophy fish for an experience of a lifetime!
